26th February 2011 Rink's 80th BirthdayStreatham Ice rink was 80 years old on 26th February 2011. To see some pictures of the celebration go to Rink 80th birthday 18th December 2011 Closing Gala and End of Era Hockey MatchThere was Closing Gala at Streatham on Sunday 18th December 2011 with a Gala performance from 4 to 6pm followed by a party on the ice until 8pm. There are photos of the last days at Streatham and the first days at Brixton here. 7th January 2012 Redskins First Match in New HomeStreatham Redskins’ first game in the new rink in Brixton took place on 7th January 2012 and drew one of their biggest crowds in years, as fans flocked to see the South London side take on league leaders Romford Raiders.
